On January 27, 2017, the fine arts faculty at Lakeland University were proud to induct Fessler Professor Karl Elder into the Lakeland University Fine Arts Gallery of Distinction for his inspiration of continuing excellence and achievement in writing.
Karl has obviously contributed tremendously to Lakeland, and has impacted countless students’ lives. He has also impacted the national literary scene. ~ Nate Lowe, dean of the School of Humanities and Fine Arts.
