Karl Elder’s previously published dramatic monologue, “Increase Claflin,” cast as the voice of the first white settler of Door County, has found a second home in the newly released Halfway to the North Pole from the Door County Poets Collective. The poem shall be included in the poet’s forthcoming Alpha Images (Water’s Edge Press).
